Today our Grade 3s presented Native American myths and legends. Each group performed a short play highlighting aspects of North American cultures. Well done, and Thank You to them and to principle Mr Colquhoun!
And we had visitors from Germany: former volunteer at iTL Nina, husband Tosh and baby Lukhanya and from Israel: Sabine and Shaul who sang a traditional song in Hebrew for us! What a blessed day!

Today Unathi came to report about his new job at a company called Drain Blasters. He started already in January after finishing a one year contract as a plumber with onother company. It is always such a joyful occasion when previous students of ours find employment due to the skills and the certificate they received from iThemba Labantu!

After a horrific week of killings, rapings and kidnappings we had a very emotional devotion today led by our mothers and sisters who could not contain their anger, pain and frustration! Our school principle Mr Colquhoun gave a strong message directed especially to our boys and men and asked them to help break the cycle of violence against girls and women! God save South Africa!
